750 Hourly Maintenance
Hydraulic system - Change hydraulic oil filter
Unscrew filter elements
Coat sealing rings of new filter elements with grease and screw in filter elements
Use original John Deere filter elements only!
Run the engine briefly and operate several hydraulic functions. Shut off engine.
Wait for 10 to 15 minutes before checking the oil level. It must be between the marks on the sight-glass. If not, correct oil level.
Transmission - Change transmission oil filter
Front-wheel drive axle - Final drives and disk brake, oil change
Turn wheel until drain screw (A) is at the bottom. Remove drain screw and drain oil into a suitable container.
10 Hourly / Daily Maintenance
All lights (including headlights) are functioning properly
Drain water and sediment from fuel filter
Remove trash from area surrounding the engine
Clean the radiator and condenser, fins and screens
Check brakes
Check the transmission/hydraulic system oil level
Check the level of oil in the engine
Check coolant level
Lubricate lift links and rockshaft
100 Hourly Maintenance
Access the diagnostic trouble codes, rectify fault and then delete the codes.
Check that all lights (including headlights) are functioning properly.
Cab mountings, check torque on attaching screws
Drawbar - Check torque on attaching screws (see Service - Every 250 Hours).
Front loader - Mounting frame, check torque on attaching screws (see Service - Every 250 Hours).
Air intake hoses, check for leaks (see Service - Every 250 Hours).
Hydraulic system - Replace hydraulic oil filter (see Service - Every 750 Hours).
Transmission - Replace transmission oil filter (see Service - Every 750 Hours).
Front-wheel drive axle - Axle housing, oil change (see Service - Every 1500 Hours).
Yearly Maintenance
Inspect seat belt for damage and ensure proper working order
Use coolant test strips to check engine coolant
Inspect hydraulic hoses
Engine - Check drive belt for wear (or every 500 hours, whichever occurs first)
Change engine oil (or every 500 hours, whichever occurs first)
Front loader - Mounting frame, check torques of attaching screws (or every 500 hours, whichever occurs first)
Change activated carbon filters of cab, if equipped (or every 500 hours, whichever occurs first)
Sign off on the yearly maintenance
250 Hourly Maintenance
Access the diagnostic trouble codes, rectify fault and then delete the codes
