1000 Hourly Maintenance
Change primary and secondary air filter elements
Check unloader valve condition
Change transmission/hydraulic oil and Filter
Lower rockshaft to remove trapped oil
Remove drain plug from transmission case (A) and drain out oil
If equipped with MFWD axle, also remove drain plug (B) in drop housing
Replace filter (C) while changing oil. Apply a film of oil to new filter gasket and install new filter. Hand tighten only
Refill system with transmission-hydraulic oil. (See Fuels, Lubricants and Coolant section)
Wait 5 minutes and check oil level at dipstick (D)
2000 Hourly / 2 Yearly Maintenance
Drain coolant from radiator and engine block
Tighten cap screws to 47 N.m (35 lb-ft)
Flush system with water
Flush system with Radiator Cleaner
Flush system with water again
Replace thermostat and apply gasket sealant to new gasket
Fill with fresh coolant
Re-check coolant level and add make-up coolant as needed
Sign off on the maintenance
As required Maintenance
Adjust hand throttle friction
Remove key switch panel
Adjust spring tension by loosening or tightening lock nut (A) until throttle lever movement is smooth throughout range of travel with only slight drag
Clean primary air filter element
Open hood (A)
Release three air cleaner cover retaining clips (B) and remove air cleaner cover (C)
Remove primary element (D)
Put primary element with the palm of your hand, NOT ON HARD SURFACE
If this does not remove dust, use compressed air under 207 kPa (2.1 bar) (30 psi). Direct air up and down the pleats, blowing from inside to outside. Be careful not to make a break in the element. Use element cleaning gun AR62377
100 Hourly Maintenance
Check level in coolant tank (B)
If engine is cool and level is below 'LOW', add coolant to recovery tank to bring to 'LOW'
Check engine oil level. Park Tractor on level ground and pull out dipstick (A). Oil level should be between two marks on dipstick.
If level is low, add oil through oil filler hole (B) until even with upper mark. DO NOT over fill.
Use seasonal viscosity grade oil (See Fuels, Lubricants and Coolant section).
Fill fuel tank and add diesel conditioner.
Drain water and sediment from fuel tank.
Check water separator.
Check radiator walls and oil cooler cleanness.
1000 Hourly / Yearly Maintenance
Replace Primary and Secondary Air Filter Elements
Open hood and remove right-side grill panel
Remove air cleaner retaining strap (A)
Release three air cleaner cover retaining clips (B) and remove air cleaner cover (C)
Remove primary (D) and secondary (E) elements
Install new secondary element
Before you install primary element, clean the inside of air cleaner housing and unloader valve with a damp cloth
Install new primary element
Install air cleaner cover
