50 Hourly Maintenance
Check transmission-hydraulic system oil level.
1. Remove dipstick (A) and wipe it clean. Insert dipstick fully. Oil level should be between full mark and end of dipstick.
2. Add oil if level is low. (See Anti-Chatter Transmission-Hydraulic oil in Fuels, Lubricants and Coolant section).
Check clutch pedal free play.
1. Remove clip pin (C).
2. Loosen jam nut (B).
3. Rotate clevis (D) as necessary to obtain the specified free play.
4. Tighten jam nut and install clevis and clip pin.
Check PTO lever travel .
250 Hourly Maintenance
Change engine oil and filter
Inspect tractor for loose hardware
Change fuel filter
Check battery fluid level
Lubricate steering spindles (2WD)
Check planetary drive oil level (MFWD)
Park tractor on a level surface so that drain plug is at the highest position
Partially unscrew drain plug to release possible pressure
Move tractor until mark is parallel to the ground
1000 Hourly / Yearly Maintenance
Replace Primary and Secondary Air Filter Elements
Open hood and remove right-side grill panel
Remove air cleaner retaining strap (A)
Release three air cleaner cover retaining clips (B) and remove air cleaner cover (C)
Remove primary (D) and secondary (E) elements
Install new secondary element
Before you install primary element, clean the inside of air cleaner housing and unloader valve with a damp cloth
Install new primary element
Install air cleaner cover
100 Hourly Maintenance
Engine oil and filter changed?
Transmission/hydraulic filter replaced?
Planetary drive oil changed?
MFWD axle oil changed?
Sign off on the 100 hourly maintenance
2000 Hourly Maintenance
Change engine coolant
Raise hood and remove side screens
Remove radiator cap
Open drain valve and drain coolant
Remove fan guard
Remove cap screw, and pull coolant pipe from thermostat housing
Remove two caps screws and thermostat housing
Remove thermostat
Remove old gasket material from cover and housing. Apply General Purpose Gasket Dressing or equivalent to new gasket
