As required Maintenance
Replace transmission and hydraulic filter elements
Replace fuel filter element and water separator element
Service prefilter
Shut off fuel at fuel tank.
Verify "IN" mark (B) on end of filter or mark direction of fuel flow.
Remove filter from lines.
Back flush filter with compressed air. If unrestricted flow is obtained reinstall filter in same direction as removed. ("IN" mark on filter should be towards fuel tank.)
Service air cleaner

1500 Hourly Maintenance
Change transmission-hydraulic oil
Clean charge pump suction screen
Change MFWD hub and axle housing lubricant
Check fuel injection nozzles
Sign off on the 1500 hourly maintenance
100 Hourly Maintenance
Perform daily or 10 hour service (See Lubrication and Maintenance/10 Hour section)
Avoid unnecessary engine idling.
Coolant temperature
Check engine oil level and coolant level more frequently. Watch for any sign of leaks
If engine oil must be added during break-in, use seasonal viscosity grade oil, meeting specifications given in Fuels, Lubricants, and Coolant section.
Check engine air intake system hoses and hose clamps for tightness.
Check and adjust drive belt tensions. Do not pry on alternator cover. Pry only on mounting brackets. (See Adjusting Belts in Service section)
Check and retighten wheel-to-rim and axle bolts after first 3 and 10 hours of operation. (See Wheels, Tires, and Treads section.)
Sign off on the 100 Hourly Maintenance

Drain fuel tank sump
Lubricate rear axle bearings
Lubricate universal joints
Lubricate tie rods
Lubricate MFWD kingpins and axle pivot
Check all tires
250 Hourly Maintenance
Change engine oil and filter
Check MFWD drive axle housing and wheel hub oil level
Service batteries
Check tension of alternator and compressor belts
Wash transmission-hydraulic oil filler cap breather filter
Inspect for loose bolts
Check neutral start system
Check brake accumulator
Inspect fire extinguisher
