Change transmission-hydraulic oil

Clean charge pump suction screen

Change MFWD hub and axle housing lubricant

Clean and repack front wheel bearings

Sign off on the 1500 Hourly Maintenance

Replace transmission and hydraulic filter

Loss of power under heavy load could indicate filter plugging.

Close the fuel shut-off valve (A) at bottom of fuel tank in front support.

Loosen bleed plug (B) and remove drain plug (C) to drain fuel from filter.

With fuel filter firm against base, lift up on top retaining spring (D) and pull down on bottom retaining spring (E). Pull fuel filter off guide pins of fuel filter base and discard.

Install fuel filter onto guide pins (A) of fuel filter base. Hold filter firmly against base.

Secure bottom retaining spring first, then secure top retaining spring (B).

Install filter base drain plug. Tighten filter base bleed plug and drain plug securely. Do not overtighten.

Transmission filter changed if not already required by monitoring system

Sign off on the 100 hourly maintenance

Check transmission-hydraulic oil level

Lubricate axle pivot pin, steering spindles, and tie rods

Lubricate MFWD kingpins and axle pivot

Have your John Deere dealer check nitrogen precharge of shift accumulators

Adjust engine valve clearance (Every 1000 Hours:)

Sign off on the 750 Hourly Maintenance
