50 Hourly Maintenance

Drive machine at 40 km/h (25 mph) or above for 15 —20 minutes.

Park machine on a flat, level surface.

Check mark

Allow hubs to cool to a point that the oil can be handled safely (approximately 30 minutes).

Check mark

Rotate hub until the casting arrow is pointed to the two o'clock position (A).

Check mark

Remove drain plug (B) and drain oil into a suitable container.

Check mark

Reinstall drain plug. Tighten to specification.

Check mark

Remove the fill plug (C).

Check mark

Remove fill level plug (D).

Check mark

Fill hub to the oil fill level (E). (See Planetary Hub Oil in the Fuels, Lubricants, and Coolants section.)
