John Deere Skid Steer Loader 332D

Machine parked on level surface and engine shut off

Nuts and washers removed from mounting studs on both sides of outer front edge of operator's station

Operator's station raised using hand holds

Gas spring cylinder locks are in place

Red cylinder lock pulled forward to ensure operator's station is in locked position

Red cylinder lock pushed rearward to unlocked position for lowering operator's station

Operator's station pulled down until seated on mounting studs

Washers and nuts installed and tightened on mounting studs

Engine cover opened and prop rod inserted in retainer

Engine side panels tilted rearward and lifted off

Bottom rear corner of engine side panel lined up with the tab on machine

Engine side panel tilted forward with outer tabs on front side staying to the outer edge of machine frame and the long inside tabs staying to the inner edge of machine frame

Metal tab on inside of engine side panel lined up with the slot on rubber guide mounted to the back of machine

Sign off on the engine side panels replacement

Raise boom and lock in raised position

Park machine and shut OFF engine

Press park brake switch to middle position to actuate hydraulics while park brake is engaged

Pivot each control lever left and right. Ensure that boom control valve locks into detent

Confirm that when control levers are returned to neutral position, they are in the center of opening range

Raise and lock operator's station in up position

If necessary, adjust positions of cables forward or backward using nuts (1) to properly position control levers

Fill each cell to within specified range with distilled water. DO NOT overfill

Disconnect battery clamps, grounded clamp first

Clean battery terminals (1) and clamps with a stiff brush

Apply lubricating grease (2) around battery terminal base only

Install and tighten clamps, grounded clamp last

Sign off on the battery electrolyte level and terminals check

Engage park brake and stop engine

Remove access cover and drain engine oil

Install hose plug after oil is drained

Clean area around engine oil filter

Remove oil filter and dispose properly

Apply clean engine oil on seal of new filter and install filter
