Retighten front wheel attaching nuts to 550 N-m (400 Ib-ft)
Retighten rear wheel attaching bolts to 260 N.m (185 lb-ft)-Standard axle
Retighten rear wheel attaching bolts to 550 N.m (400 lb-ft)-Heavy duty and powered axle
Retighten final drive attaching screws
Retighten 3-speed or ProDrive transmission attaching screws
Retighten front axle attaching screws
Sign off on the Initial 50 Hours Maintenance
Yearly Maintenance
Starting motor checked
Alternator checked
Brake fluid changed - 3-Speed transmission only
Brake disk thickness - ProDrive transmission only
Air intake system hose connections checked
Turbocharger attaching bolts retightened (Cummins engine)
Air conditioning system cleaned, filter of coolant conditioner and thermostats changed
Vibration damper checked
Sign off on the yearly maintenance
1000 Hourly Maintenance
Change oil of length-of-cut transmission
Change oil of 3-speed or ProDrive transmission
Change oil of final drives
Change oil of differential - powered rear axle
Change oil of reduction gears - powered rear axle
Have John Deere engine valve clearance checked and, if necessary, adjusted by your John Deere dealer. in every 2000 hours
Check the fan hub in every 10000 hours
Sign off on the 1000 Hourly Maintenance
Initial 10 Hours Maintenance
Retighten steering cylinder bracket attaching screws at rear axle
Retighten steering cylinder bracket attaching screws at wheel motors
Retighten wheel motor yoke attaching screws at rear axle sliding sleeve
Sign off on the maintenance
Initial 100 Hours Maintenance
Perform daily or 10 hour service (refer to this Section and to "Fuel, Lubricants and Capacities")
Avoid unnecessary engine idling.
Watch coolant temperature closely.
Check engine oil level
Check coolant level
Watch for any sign of leaks.
If engine oil must be added during break-in, use seasonal viscosity grade oil, meeting specifications given in "Fuel, Lubricants and Capacities" Section.
Check engine air intake system hoses and hose clamps for tightness.
Check drive belts for proper tension and adjust, if necessary.
