Rinse hood and entire machine with clean water

Wash surface with clean water and a mild liquid automotive washing soap

Dry thoroughly to avoid water spots

Wax the surface with a liquid automotive wax. Use products that specifically say “contains no abrasives.”

Buff applied wax by hand using a clean, soft cloth

Sign off on the cleaning procedure

Radiator cap opened to first stop to release pressure

Pan positioned under radiator drain plug

Drain plug opened and coolant drained from system

Radiator cap removed when coolant drains from recovery tank

Accessed the engine compartment

Squeezed dust unloading valve to clean

Dust unloading valve replaced if damaged

Sign off on the dust unloading valve cleaning

Drain, Flush and Refill Engine Cooling System

Slowly open radiator cap to the first stop to release all pressure

Position a pan under the radiator drain plug

Open the drain plug and allow the coolant to drain from the system

When coolant drains from the recovery tank, remove the radiator cap

Machine parked safely and engine allowed to cool

Hood raised, side panel removed and grille slid up

Radiator screen (C) slid up out of retaining slot

Screen cleaned with compressed air, brush, or cloth

All dirt and debris removed from fins at front and rear of the Radiator (A), including fan shroud (B)

All dirt and debris removed from fins at front and rear of the Transmission oil cooler (D)

All dirt and debris removed from fins at front and rear of the Fuel cooler (E)

Grille slid down, side panel installed and hood lowered

Sign off on the cleaning procedure
