1500 Hourly Maintenance
Check fan belt tensioner
Replace open crankcase ventilation Final Tier 4/Stage IV machines only
Replace Open Crankcase Ventilation Filter (Final Tier 4/Stage V 6.8 L Engine)
Pull hood release (A) and raise hood.
Remove filter lid (A).
Remove open crankcase ventilation filter from inside the filter housing (B).
To install new filter, align tabs on the new filter with tabs on inside of the filter housing.
Replace lid and hand tighten.
Replace Open Crankcase Ventilation Filter (Final Tier 4/Stage V 9.0 L Engine)
1000 Hourly Maintenance
Replace hydrostatic and hydraulic filters
Replace hydraulic reservoir fill cap
Change hydraulic oil
Clean AutoTrac™ strainer
Adjust engine valve clearance in every 2000 Hours
Replace crankshaft vibration damper in every 5000 Hours or 5 years
Drain, flush, and refill engine cooling system in every 6000 Hours or 6 years
50 Hourly Maintenance
Change planetary hub oil
Drive machine at 40 km/h (25 mph) or above for 15 —20 minutes
Park machine on a flat, level surface
Allow hubs to cool to a point that the oil can be handled safely (approximately 30 minutes)
Rotate hub until the casting arrow is pointed to the two o'clock position (A)
Remove drain plug (B) and drain oil into a suitable container
Reinstall drain plug. Tighten to specification
Remove the fill plug (C)
Remove fill level plug (D)
4500 Hourly / 3 Yearly Replacement
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Cap (A) removed and retained
Equalizing element (A) removed and discarded
Check inside of the filter for color code
Filter tool (A) inserted into the filter (B) until a click is felt or heard
Filter and tool discarded
Dosing unit threads and mating surfaces cleaned with distilled water
New filter O-rings lubricated with clean engine oil
New filter and equalizing element installed
Daily Maintenance
Check engine oil level
Park machine on level ground. Stop engine and remove key.
Remove fill cap (A) and clean oil from dipstick.
Install fill cap, then remove and check oil level on dipstick.
Oil level is adequate if level is between the ADD hole (C) and FULL hole (D).
If oil level is below the ADD hole, then add engine oil and recheck until level is adequate.
Check coolant level
