Isolate the compressor from the system

Press the emergency stop to vent the separator tank and airend

Ensure the main power disconnect switch is locked off and tagged

Disconnect aftercooler discharge tube or hose

Remove top assembly by removing eight bolts while supporting assembly properly

Close all air inlets and depressurize the filter housing

Turn the bowl in counter-clockwise direction

Unscrew the bowl completely from the filter head and pull it off

Remove the exhausted element by unscrewing from the filter head

Clean the O-ring seat of the head

Inspect Scavenge Tubes/Orifice and Blowdown System

Inspect scavenge orifice and tubing for blockage and clean if necessary

Inspect blowdown diverter orifice and clean if necessary

Inspect blowdown valve and clean if necessary

Inspect and clean spool and all orifice features of blowdown fitting

Confirm correct direction of flow for scavenge orifice

Ensure correct orientation of blowdown spool (O-ring seal up)

Ensure Synflex tubing is fully inserted into push-connect elbow fitting

Replace Starter Box Power Drive Element (PDM) Filter Element

Ensure the compressor is electrically isolated for at least 15 minutes before commencing any maintenance work.

Remove the panels from the compressor.

Use a clean dry cloth to remove dust from the surface of the motor cowl.

Ensure all ventilation slots are free of obstructions.

Check condition of flexible tube used for condensate drainage

Replace flexible tube if necessary

Check if all connecting pipes are properly tightened and fixed

Check if dryer is working properly after above procedures
