4000 Hourly / 1 Yearly Separator Cleaning
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Disconnect tubing at each end of check valve/screen/orifice assembly
Check orifice and clean if required
Press screen retainer orifice from its mating fitting without damaging flared end of fitting or O-ring
Wash screen and housing in safety solvent and blow dry
Press the check valve/screen/orifice into fitting block
Assemble the check valve/screen/orifice assembly to the tubing lines
Sign off on the separator cleaning
2000 Hourly / 6 Monthly Belt Inspection
Inspect V-Belt/Belt Tension
Inspect sheave grooves for foreign material or rubber build-up
Clean and degrease sheaves before installing new belts
Install new belts in the reverse order of disassembly
Ensure belt is not forced over the sheave grooves during installation
Belt Tension Adjustment
Remove the right guard
Apply force at the center of the sheave span using a tension gauge or other calibrated spring
Loosen the nut on the pivot bolt located on the left side (nearest the separator tank) on the airend if belt tension is incorrect
8000 Hourly Shaft Seal Replacement
Ensure the main electrical disconnect is locked and tagged open and that all air pressure is relieved from the system.
Removed both doors and the top of the enclosure?
Removed both guards, V-belts and airend sheave?
Removed seal housing from airend assembly?
Drove both seals out of seal housing without damaging seal housing bore?
Removed check valve ball and plug from seal housing?
Inspected wear sleeve and replaced if necessary?
Removed all traces of flange sealant from the seal housing and rotor housing?
Installed the seals from the proper side and in the proper orientation?
1000 Hourly / 9 Monthly Motor Lubrication
Warning: Improper lubrication can cause motor bearing failure. The quantity of grease added should be carefully controlled.
Stop motor before regreasing. Disconnect power; lock out and tag.
Outlet plugs or spring-loaded grease relief plugs removed?
Drive end outlet plugs located and accessible?
Drain hole free of any hard grease?
Enter the quantity of grease delivered with each stroke of the lever.
Recommended volume of the recommended lubricant added?
Do not expect grease to appear at the outlet, but if it does, discontinue greasing at once.
Motor run for about 30 minutes before replacing outlet plugs or reliefs?
Temperature Control Valve Element Replacement
Warning: Ensure you are wearing appropriate PPE
Loosen temperature control valve element without exerting excess stress on oil piping
Upload a photo of the loosened valve element
Remove faulty temperature control valve element
Upload a photo of the removed valve element
Install replacement element
Upload a photo of the installed replacement element
Start and load unit to check for proper discharge temperature control
Sign off on the valve element replacement
