Lubrication intervals are based on intermittent service run time. If the hoist is operated more frequently, a more frequent lubrication schedule will be required.

Lubricate components supplied by grease fittings.

Inspect and clean or replace air line filter.

Sign off on the monthly air hoist lubrication

WARNING! Failure to maintain a clean and well-lubricated load chain will result in rapid load chain wear that can lead to chain failure which may result in death, severe injury, or substantial property damage.

Lubricate each link of load chain weekly, or more frequently, depending on severity of service.

In corrosive environments, lubricate more frequently than normal.

Lubricate each link of the load chain and apply new lubricant over existing layer.

Depending on Working Conditions Frequent Inspection Interval can be changed. Normal - Monthly, Heavy - Weekly, Severe - Daily.

All functional operating mechanisms for maladjustment and unusual sounds.

Hoist Braking System for proper operation.

Hooks, per guidance given in manual.

Hook Latch for proper function.

Load Chain, per guidance given in manual.

Load Chain reeving for compliance to manufacturers recommendations.

Air System; lines, valves, and other parts for leakage.

Pendant and e-stop; confirm proper operation.

Hoist: Check for visual signs or abnormal noises

Hoist: All controls function properly and return to neutral when released

Hoist: Chain feed through hoist and bottom block

Hooks: Check for wear or damage, increased throat width, bent shank or twisting of hook

Hooks: Check hook support bearings for lubrication or damage

Hook Latch: Make sure hook latch is present and operating

Air System: Visually inspect all connections, fittings, hoses and components for indication of air leaks

Air System: Check and clean filter

Emergency Stop: Check Emergency Stop for proper operation

Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure.

Ensure all points requiring lubrication are serviced with correct lubricant at the proper time interval.
