Check the cooler(s) for build up of foreign matter

Cleaned the cooler(s) if necessary?

On water cooled and sea water cooled models, check the water input line strainer for build up of foreign matter

Cleaned the water input line strainer if necessary?

Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure.

Position a suitable container under the drain plug.

Has the drain plug been removed and coolant completely drained?

Has additional coolant been removed from the airend discharge tube and oil coolers from their respective plugs?

Has the coolant filter been replaced?

Has the separator element been replaced?

Has the plug been replaced and the compressor refilled?

CAUTION - DO NOT MIX OILS WITH ULTRA COOLANT.

Has the compressor been started and checked for leaks?

• Unscrew the retaining nut and withdraw the old elements

• Fit the new element ensuring that the retaining nut is secured

• Unclip the retaining cap and withdraw the old elements)

. Fit new elements) and refit the retaining cap.

Unscrew the retaining nut and remove the cannister lid

Loosen filter element with the correct tool

Remove the element from the housing

Place the old element in a sealed bag and dispose of in a safe way

Clean the mating face of the housing

Remove the new Ingersoll Rand replacement element from its protective package

Apply a small amount of lubricant to the element seal

Screw the new element down until the seal makes contact with the housing, then hand tighten a further half turn

Start the compressor and check for leaks

Sign off on the coolant filter replacement

Is the coolant level visible in the sight glass while the machine is running on load?

Is the coolant level between the middle and the top of the green section of the sight glass tube?

Did you run the compressor for a minimum of 40 seconds before stopping?

Did you add coolant until the level is up to the mid-point of the sight glass?

Did you perform a visual check of the machine for any leaks, dust build up or unusual noise/vibration?

Sign off on the daily coolant level check
