6 Monthly Merchandiser Cleaning
Clean evaporator coil/s and fan blade/s. Do not use an acid base cleaner. Rinse off any cleaner residue.
Clean discharge air honeycombs or grilles. Do not use an acid base cleaner. Rinse off any cleaner residue.
Clean condenser coil/s and fan blade/s. Do not use an acid base Cleaner. Rinse off any cleaner residue.
Clean condensate drain pan and drain line.
Verify condensate drain lines are clear and functioning.
Record voltage reading at unit with unit off.
Record voltage reading with unit running.
Record compressor amp draw.
Record defrost heater voltage and amp draw.
Stainless Steel Surfaces Cleaning
CAUTION! DO NOT FLOOD! Use only enough water necessary to clean surface. Water must not drip down the case! Never use ammonia based cleansers, abrasive cleansers, or scouring pads.
Use non-abrasive cleaning materials, and always polish with grain of the steel.
Use warm water or add a mild detergent to the water and apply with a cloth. Always wipe rails dry after wetting.
Use alkaline chlorinated or non-chlorine containing cleaners such as window cleaners and mild detergents.
Do not use cleaners containing salts as this may cause pitting and rusting of the stainless steel finish.
Do not use bleach.
Sign off on the cleaning procedure
3 Monthly Merchandiser Cleaning
Record any complaints or issues from the store manager
Check unit for any damage, vibrations or abnormal noise
Verify unit is level side to side and front to rear
Confirm refrigerant lines are properly secured and not touching or rubbing other lines, wires or frame work
Verify fan motors and motor mounts are tight
Confirm fan blade/s are tight and not rubbing or hitting
Make sure all electrical connections, factory and field, are tight
Verify electrical connections at lamps are secure and dry
Check for and replace any frayed or chaffed wiring
Evaporation Pan Cleaning
CAUTION! Evaporation Pan is Hot! and poses risk of bodily injury - Always Wear glove and protective eye wear when servicing. Turn off evaporation pan heater, and allow pan to cool.

Is the condensate water outlet empty?
Is there any debris or dirt accumulation inside the condensate evaporation pan or on the heater coil?
Is the evaporation pan waste water overflowing?
Is the heater properly operating?
Is there any accumulated debris in the evaporation pan?
Is the heater coil clean?
Is there any water introduced during cleaning?
1 Monthly Coils Cleaning
WARNING! SHUT FANS OFF DURING CLEANING PROCESS.
NEVER USE SHARP OBJECTS AROUND COILS.
Condenser coils cleaned?
Used a soft brush or vacuum brush to clean debris from coils?
Made sure not to puncture coils?
Made sure not to bend fins?
Is there ICE in or on the coil?
If there is ICE in or on the coil, the refrigeration and defrost cycle is not operating properly. Contact an authorized service technician to determine the cause of icing, and to make adjustments as necessary.
To maintain product integrity, move all product to a cooler until the unit has returned to normal operating temperatures.
