Close the Water Supply Line Shut-off Valve

Recover the refrigerant and store it in an approved container

Disconnect the Capillary Tube at the Condenser outlet using brazing equipment

Disconnect the Flare-connections of the valve

Remove the screws and the valve from the Bracket

Remove the panels from the remote condenser unit

Recover the refrigerant and store it in an approved container

Break off the stub on the dome to release the dome charge before heating

C.P.R. Disconnection and Installation

Disconnect the C.P.R. using brazing equipment

Install the new C.P.R. using nitrogen gas at 3-4 PSIG when brazing

Drain the Water Tank by removing one end of the Pump Tubing

Replace the removed parts in their correct positions

Disconnect the Pump Suction and Discharge Hoses

Remove the screws and the Pump Motor Bracket

Remove the closed end connectors from the Pump Motor leads

Remove the two screws and the Pump Motor Bracket

Close the Water Supply Line Shut-off Valve

Remove the Valve Outlet Tubing by releasing the Clamp

Remove the Bracket from the unit

Remove the Fitting Nut and Water Valve

Disconnect the Terminals from the Water Valve

Install the new Water Valve, and replace the removed parts in the reverse order of which they were removed

Open the Water Supply Line Shut-off Valve

Remove the Front Panel (Except water-cooled model)

Move the Control Switch, on the Control Box, to the “OFF” position

Close the Potable Water Supply Line Shut-off Valve and open the Potable Water Supply Line Drain Valve

Allow the line to drain by gravity

Attach compressed air or carbon dioxide supply to the Potable Water Line Drain Valve

Move the Control Switch to the “ICE” position

Blow the potable water line out using compressed air or carbon dioxide
