Unplug the icemaker from the electrical supply network

Mix 1 litre of water with 4 ml of 5.25% sodium hypochlorite solution or use the recommended Hoshizaki sanitiser as directed

Soak the scoop in the solution for more than 3 minutes

Shake the scoop to remove surplus liquid

Wash the storage bin handle with a neutral cleaner

Unplug the icemaker from the electrical supply network

Ensure no water jet is used for cleaning

Wipe the exterior with a clean, soft cloth

Use a damp cloth with a neutral cleaner to wipe off grease or dirt

Unplug the icemaker from the electrical supply network

Ensure no water jet is used for cleaning

Use a neutral non-abrasive cleaner to clean the storage bin door

Rinse the storage bin door thoroughly after cleaning

Sanitise the storage bin door as required

Unplug the icemaker from the electrical supply network

Ensure the appliance is not cleaned using a water jet

Periodic Inspection and Maintenance

Check the extruding head (upper bearing)

Inspect the housing (lower bearing)

Unplug the icemaker from the electrical supply network

Ensure no water jet is used for cleaning

Verify water temperature is below 40°C for cleaning plastic parts

Confirm a trained service person is scheduled to clean and sanitise the icemaker water system
