Motor checked at regular intervals?

Motor kept clean for adequate ventilation?

Is the pump installed in a dusty environment?

If the pump is installed in a dusty environment, follow the steps below:

Sign off on the motor maintenance

If motor power is up to 11 kW, no lubrication is required

If motor power is 11 kW and up, proceed with the following steps

Motor greased in accordance with the indications on the motor nameplate

Motor lubricated with a lithium-based grease

Technical specification of the grease corresponds to DIN 51825, K3N, or better

Viscosity of the basic oil at 40 °C (104 °F)

Viscosity of the basic oil at 100 °C (212 °F)

Alternate twin-head duty and standby pumps on a regular basis, i.e. once a week, to ensure an even distribution of the operating hours on both pumps

If twin-head pumps are used for pumping domestic hot water, the duty and standby pumps must be alternated on a regular basis, i.e. once a day, to avoid blocking of the standby pump due to deposits (calcareous deposits, etc.)

Automatic pump change is recommended, is it set up?

Sign off on the daily pump maintenance

Warning: Before starting work on the pump, make sure that the power supply has been switched off and that it cannot be accidentally switched on

Warning: Make sure that the escaping liquid does not cause injury to persons or damage to the motor or other components

Warning: In hot-liquid installations, pay special attention to the risk of injury caused by scalding hot liquid

Warning: In cold-liquid installations, pay special attention to the risk of injury caused by the cold liquid.

Inject a few drops of silicone oil

The drops should be injected on the shaft between the motor stool and the coupling

It will prevent the shaft seal faces from sticking
