Warning: Ensure the sprayer gun is NOT triggered during this check

Sprayer motor stalls and does not restart until gun is triggered again

Does sprayer start again with gun NOT triggered?

If sprayer starts again with gun NOT triggered, follow the next steps

Inspect pump for internal leaks

Inspect pump for external leaks

Inspect/clean fluid inlet strainer

Inspect motor shield vents for blockage

Fill TSL by adding through TSL fill point

Sign off on the daily sprayer inspection

Warning: This adjustment requires trained personnel with PPE!

Enter the usage of the pump in gallons

If the pump packing is leaking, tighten the packing nut until leakage stops or lessens.

Did the leakage stop after tightening the packing nut?

If the leakage did not stop, a repacking is required.

Sign off on the sprayer throat packing adjustment

Perform Pressure Relief Procedure

Remove fluid intake and drain tube from paint, wipe excess paint off outside

Place fluid intake in flushing fluid. Use water for water base paint and mineral spirits for oil-based paint. Place drain tube in waste pail

To flush drain tube and pump turn prime valve down

Turn pressure control to Fast Flush operate until the pump runs steady and flushing fluid appears in the waste pail

To flush airless hose and spray gun, turn prime valve horizontal

Hold gun against waste pail. Disengage trigger lock. Trigger gun and turn pressure control to Fast Flush operate until the pump runs steady and flushing fluid appears
