Refer to Thrust Pot IOM for lubrication requirements
Check oil level when not operating
Measure oil level in the sight gauge
Is the oil level between 0.635 to 0.3175 mm (1/8 in. to 1/4 in.) from the top of the oil sight gauge?
Check oil level when operating
Is the oil level lower than the required level as indicated on the oil sight gauge?

Wear Ring Replacement
Replacement guidelines — Impeller replacement
Replace impeller vanes if grooved deeper than 1.6 mm or worn evenly more than 0.8 mm.
Replace vane edges if cracks, pitting, or corrosion damage are visible.
Remove the bowl and impeller wear rings
Remove the setscrews or grind off the tack weld if present.
Cut two V-shaped grooves on the bowl or impeller wear ring approximately 180° apart using a diamond-point chisel.
Knock the end of one half of the ring in and pry the ring out using a chisel or drift punch.
For high-alloy materials, machine the wear ring off using a lathe, ensuring not to damage the ring seat.
