Ensure means are available to catch liquid draining from the meter housing

Remove housing from meter body by taking out four screws

Slide new O-ring over new bearing seal

Insert shaft through spacer and bearing

Press assembled shaft and seal through housing and seat bearing squarely into recess

Remove the front panel to access pump parts

Prepare an appropriate container to catch product when removing any cover

Remove cover plate (1) and square ring (2)

Note orientation of rotor (4) and vanes (36) in rotor slots

Remove key (3) and withdraw rotor and vanes from pump block (12)

Ensure washer (6) and spring (7) remain on pump shaft

Remove self-tapping screws and lift off the front panel assembly.

Remove screws with fiber washers and lift off components

Withdraw all parts (8 through 22) while observing their position and relationship.

Remove screw (1) to take out the totalizer assembly (3).

Remove register (1 through 33) by taking out 4 screws and lifting it off the meter body.

Check for visible damage or wear on the following parts

Does the pump start and stop correctly?

Record the flow rate of the pump

Is the flow rate within the normal range?

Check emergency stop functionality

Clean all painted surfaces with high grade automobile polish

Apply a coat of paste wax to protect the finish

Avoid using abrasive cleaners or polish

Avoid using high-pressure spraying equipment
