Remove self-tapping screws and lift off the front panel assembly.

Remove screws with fiber washers and lift off components

Withdraw all parts (8 through 22) while observing their position and relationship.

Remove screw (1) to take out the totalizer assembly (3).

Remove register (1 through 33) by taking out 4 screws and lifting it off the meter body.

Separate and clean top and bottom half of the measuring chamber

Ensure baffle is seated in grooves in top and bottom halves and through slot in measuring disc (7)

Check if the measuring disc rotates freely

Reassemble the measuring chamber without dropping or sharply striking parts

Torque screws (4) to 20-25 ft-lbs

Clean all painted surfaces with high grade automobile polish

Apply a coat of paste wax to all painted surfaces

Ensure no abrasive cleaners or polish were used

Ensure no high-pressure spraying equipment was used

Stainless Steel Cabinet Maintenance

Wash stainless steel cabinets with mild detergent or soap and water

Rinse stainless steel cabinets with clean water

Ensure no abrasive cleaners were used

Ensure the pump is adjusted for accurate measure for gasoline within + .05 gallons at the factory

Has the device been reported to local Weights and Measures officials for inspection?

Choose the flow rate for zero calibration point (e.g., middle or top notch position on nozzle)

Use a certified five-gallon measure with sight glass and scale

Fill and drain the test measure to wet interior surfaces completely

Check for visible damage or wear on the following parts

Record the current meter reading

Is the pump operating smoothly without unusual noises?

Test the emergency shut-off functionality

Lubricate moving parts as necessary
