Ensure electrical supply to the equipment is disconnected before maintenance.

Label all wires prior to disconnection.

Ensure area is free of any combustible materials and other dangers.

If gas is smelled, do not try to light the appliance.

Do not touch any electrical switch if gas is smelled.

Ensure electrical supply to the equipment is disconnected before maintenance.

If yes, leave the building and contact gas supplier from a neighbor’s phone.

If unable to reach gas supplier, phone the fire department.

Prepare the Annual Preventative Maintenance Kit

Inspect the fuel train, burner and control panel for debris and proper attachment.

Replace the combustion air filter with a new filter of the same Fulton part number.

Wear appropriate respiratory protection

Ensure all maintenance is performed by trained personnel

Use only Fulton-provided nuts and washers

Follow proper safety precautions when using a ladder

Filter Inspection and Replacement

Remove the filter from the slot above the cabinet

Is the filter plugged or contaminated with debris?

Replace the filter if it is plugged or contaminated

Ensure boiler is off and cooled, with proper lockout - tagout per local codes prior to service and maintenance.

Do not allow dust or dirt to accumulate around the boiler.

Remove power and turn off gas supply. Allow the boiler to cool.

With the door open, place a ladder in front of the unit.

Remove wires from ignition assembly.
