Print Head Wiping
Preparation
Ensure no paper is loaded in the printer
Touch a metal object to discharge static electricity

Cleaning Process
On the LCD screen, select Maintenance > Cleaning the Maintenance Parts > Wiping the Print Head > Start
Open the maintenance cover
Use a cleaning stick to wipe around the print head to remove any ink, lint, or dirt
1 Monthly Platen and Borderless Pad Edges Cleaning
Preparation
Turn off the product, wait for the LCD screen to turn off, and unplug the power cable from the electrical outlet.
Wait for one minute before continuing.
Cleaning the Platen
Open the front covers.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to thoroughly remove dust and dirt from the platen. Wipe from the top to the bottom of the platen and do not touch the rollers or ink tubes.
For stubborn dirt, dampen a soft cloth with neutral detergent, wring it out, and clean the platen. Dry the platen with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth when finished.
Cleaning the Borderless Pad Edges
Use a pointed object such as a toothpick to push any accumulated paper particles into the holes.

Preparation
Load roll paper or cut sheet paper in the printer
Ensure the correct paper type is selected

Borderless Maintenance Boxes Replacement
Preparation
Check the LCD screen to determine which maintenance box needs to be replaced.
Remove the new borderless maintenance box from the package.
Adjust Paper Support
Lift up the paper support lock lever, then move the paper support down to position A (the lowest position).
Extend the paper output flap as shown.
With the paper output flap extended, lift up the paper support lock lever, then move the paper support up to position C (the highest position).
Replace Maintenance Box
Pull out the borderless maintenance box carefully without tilting it.
Cutter Replacement
Preparation
Remove all paper from the printer
Select the Menu icon
Select Maintenance > Replace Auto cutter blade > Start
Cutter Removal
Open the maintenance cover
Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen the screw holding the cutter in place and carefully remove the cutter
Cutter Installation
Install the new cutter in the product with the protective material still attached
