Warning: Always use appropriate safety gear while performing this procedure

Is the oil cooler clean before starting the procedure?

If the oil cooler is not clean, report to the maintenance team and stop the procedure

Did you use a fibre brush to clean the oil cooler?

Did you avoid using a wire brush or metal objects?

Sign off on the oil cooler cleaning

WARNING! The belts must be replaced as a set, even if only one of the belts is worn. Only use genuine Atlas Copco belts.

Stop the compressor, close the air outlet valve and switch off the voltage

Remove the front door, the internal panel, the top cover, the pulley protection and the left side panel

Release the belt tension by loosening tensioning nut

Tension belts as described above

Warning: Ensure the compressor is stopped and the voltage is switched off before proceeding

Front door and internal panel removed

Measure the force and deflection

Refer to the sticker on the frame for the values to be measured

Sign off on the belt tension check

Safety Warning: This procedure should only be performed by trained personnel.

Is the air outlet valve closed?

Are the drain valves and the manual drain valve open?

Is the filler plug unscrewed one turn to permit any pressure in the system to escape?

CAUTION! If the valve does not open at the set pressure stamped on the valve, replace the valve.

Does the valve open at the set pressure?

No adjustments are allowed. Never run the compressor without a safety valve.

Atlas Copco Roto-Xtend Duty Fluid used?

Service the instrument block: Thermostatic and MPV kit

Check and clean the inlet valve. Use the unloader kit

Sign off on the compressor maintenance
