Replace the oil filter cartridges

Check the fill pressure of the HP-accumulator

Sign off on the hydraulic breaker service

Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this check

Visual check of the HP-accumulator

Detect any of the following on the HP-accumulator

Broken or missing connecting screws detected?

If yes, the HP-accumulator shells needs to be checked for cracks, deformations and damage to the threaded bores by a professional

All connecting screws must be replaced

Never operate the hydraulic breaker if you detect any damage to the HP-accumulator

The HP-accumulator can be replaced on site

Contact the Atlas Copco Customer Center/Dealer in your area

Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

Cleaned the area around the impact ring?

Removed all remnants of lubricant from the inside of the lower breaker part?

Enter the inside diameter of the lower wear bush

Is the inside diameter of the lower wear bush within permissible limits?

Enter the inside diameter of the upper wear bush

Is the inside diameter of the upper wear bush within permissible limits?

Are there any chips and cracks on the impact ring?

Sign off on the wear bush and impact ring check

Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

The gas pressure changes with the gas temperature. Before checking the gas pressure it is necessary to wait until the temperature of the HP-accumulator has levelled to about 20 °C

Enter the current gas temperature

The gas pressure can be checked by measuring the velocity of the pressure drop in the hydraulic system. Use a pressure gauge (measuring range ≥ 250 bar)

Place the hydraulic breaker on timber support blocks. The breaker box service opening must be facing upwards

Is the hydraulic breaker properly placed?

Depressurise the hydraulic system before disconnecting a hydraulic hose (see chapter Depressurising the hydraulic system)

Is the hydraulic system depressurised?

Warning: Chisel paste is environmentally harmful. Dispose of it properly.

Can the floating ring (E) move freely?

If the floating ring is stuck, remove it for cleaning.

Upload a photo of the removed floating ring, counter ring and guide ring

Is the space in front of the flexible wiper clean of all loose dust?

If the wiper is damaged, replace it.

Measure the inside diameter of the floating ring

If the diameter exceeds the maximum permissible diameter Dmax, replace the floating ring.
