List all 6 month checks completed

Check safety devices cut out the compressor at the correct settings

Tighten all electrical terminals

Ensure all electrical and moving parts are isolated before starting maintenance.

Check glycol concentration if appropriate.

Leak test all R407C joints and inspect all water connections.

Check superheats with chiller running on full load.

Recheck the charge following major adjustment of the superheats.

Ensure all work is carried out by technically trained competent personnel

Isolate equipment to ensure no live electrical or moving parts are active

Inspect the unit for general wear and tear and treat metalwork as necessary

Inspect pipe and pipework insulation for any damage

Clean evaporator water strainer

Clean condenser coils using detergent and a stiff bristled brush. Avoid steam cleaning. For heavy dirt, use a high pressure water or chemical hose

Evaporator and Thermostat Check

Check evaporator trace heating activation temperature

Check low ambient thermostat activation temperature

Re-cap the Schraeder connections

Ensure all work is carried out by technically trained competent personnel

Isolate equipment to ensure safety from live electrical and moving parts

Commissioning Records Verification

Verify the following against the commissioning records

Ensure chilled water pump operates efficiently

Ensure flow switch operates efficiently

Verify interlocks function correctly
