Clean all piping of dirt and scale by hammering on the outside of the pipe.

Blow out loose particles from the piping.

Have all gas lines external to the unit been purged of air?

Loosen six nuts (top and bottom) A

Ensure nuts (C) are not loosened

Re-tighten nuts (A) after adjustment

Use belt tension checker to apply perpendicular force at midpoint of belt span

Enter the deflection distance obtained (in mm)

Enter the deflection force applied

Inspect the unit for possible damage during transit.

Note the extent of any damage on the carrier’s freight bill.

Request inspection by the carrier’s agent in writing.

Is the product installed in compliance with the enclosed installation instructions and applicable codes?

Is the furnace and its individual shut-off valve disconnected from the gas supply piping system during pressure testing above 1/2 PSIG?

Verify that the ZE units are properly phased at the factory.

Is the blower rotating in the correct direction?

Is the compressor rotating in the correct direction?

Check for signs of misphasing in the scroll compressor

Is the electrical connection to the unit misphased?

Change the phasing of the Field Line Connection at the factory or field supplied disconnect to obtain proper rotation.

Close main manual shut-off valve

Shut off all electric power to the unit

Remove screws holding the manifold to the burner supports

Open the union fitting in the gas supply line upstream of the unit gas valve

Remove the gas piping closure panel

Disconnect wiring to the gas valves and spark ignitors

Remove the manifold-burner gas valve assembly by lifting up and pulling back
