Connect a manometer to the outlet pressure port on the gas valve

Remove plastic cap covering HI and LO pressure adjustment screws

Set thermostat to call for second stage heat and start furnace

Adjust second stage (100% input) manifold pressure

Enter the current manifold pressure for second stage

Is the manifold pressure within the range of 3.2 to 3.8 IWG?

Adjust the second stage adjustment screw if necessary

Verify that the ZJ078-150 unit is properly phased at the factory.

Is the blower rotating in the correct direction?

Is the compressor rotating in the correct direction?

Check for signs of misphasing in the scroll compressor

Is the electrical connection to the unit misphased?

Describe the corrective actions taken to change the phasing of the Field Line Connection.

Clean all piping of dirt and scale by hammering on the outside of the pipe.

Blow out loose particles from the piping.

Have all gas lines external to the unit been purged of air?

Ensure no open flames are present in the area.

Use only approved pipe dope for assembling pipes.

Open the main shut-off valve to admit normal gas pressure to the mains.

Check all joints for leaks using a soap solution or other suitable material. Ensure the following joints are checked:

Were any leaks detected during the inspection?

If leaks were detected, were they repaired?

Check that all filters are installed ahead of the evaporator coil

Inspect filters for dirt and debris

Replace filters with the same size and type if necessary

Ensure the unit is not operated without filters properly installed

Verify panel latches are properly positioned to maintain an airtight seal
