Hourly Maintenance
Lubricate the bearings. Amount of grease for lubricated bearings (chapter 6.5.1):
Frame 355 - Drive End - 6322 C3 - 60 g.
Frame 400 - Drive End - 6326 C3 - 81 g.
Frame 400 - Non Drive End - 6319 C3 - 45 g.
Complete verification of the alternator – according to item 6.9 of this manual:
The frequency of inspections should be defined according to the environment where the alternator is installed. The more aggressive the environment (dirt, oil, salt spray, dust, etc.) the smaller should be the time interval between inspections, as follows:
- Complete disassembly of the alternator
- General cleaning of all components and parts
- Visual inspection of all components and parts
