Position the chamber for rear access

Check with the manufacturer for approved cleaning methods

Turn off the expectorant supply

Remove the expectorant supply hose from the rear of the chamber

Remove any contamination from the filter

Unplug chamber and position the chamber for rear access

Clean the intake of the blower motor with a brush or vacuum/brush combination

Repositioning and Clearance Check

Reposition the chamber ensuring at least 2 inches of free air space between the rear of the blower motor and any other objects

Verify that the cleaning method used is recommended by the manufacturer

Unplug the chamber from the line voltage

Turn off the expectorant supply

Disconnect expectorant supply hose from the chamber

Ensure all components of the chamber have reached ambient temperature

Position the chamber on its left side as viewed from the front

Remove the 6-32 screws from the bottom of the chamber/control section intersection

Remove the 6-32 screws from the top of the chamber/control section intersection

Unplug the chamber from the line voltage

Turn off the expectorant supply

Disconnect expectorant supply hose from the chamber

Ensure that the heating elements and the interior of the chamber have reached ambient temperature

Remove the (14) or (18) #6 screws located on the perimeter of the chamber back plate

Carefully pivot back plate away without stress to the line or fuse wiring

Unplug the chamber from the line voltage

Turn off the expectorant supply

Disconnect supply hose from the chamber

Ensure components carrying the expectorant have reached ambient temperature

Remove the controller chassis as described in 'Temperature controller section removal'

Locate and follow the two wires attached to the cool module

Write down positions of the two wires connected to the I/O board terminal block
