Remove the valve cap (Figure 9, Ref. 1)

Remove the valve assembly (Ref. 3) from the head using needle nose pliers

Remove the o-ring (Ref. 4) from below the valve assembly

Remove the o-ring (Ref. 2) from the valve cap

Reassemble the parts by reversing the disassembly steps

Select the model for torque specification

Check the oil level using the dipstick

Use Hypro Oil (P/N 2160-0038) for lubrication

Enter the crankcase capacity for PowerLine Plus 2200B-P pumps

Change oil after 500 hours of operation

Verify the following are marked on the crankcase of the pump

Oil Seal Replacement for 2200B-P and 2300B-P Series

Ensure the following tools are available

Drain the oil from the crankcase using a 9/16" hex wrench.

Remove the cylinder head and plunger retaining nuts with a 9/16" hex wrench. Remove the plungers and slinger rings.

Inspect the plunger rods for nicks or scratches. Replace if necessary.

Lift out the plunger guide using two flat screwdrivers, ensuring no damage to the plunger rods.

Replace the plunger guides with oil seals and o-rings, indexing to the vent ports.

Ensure the following tools are available

Replace the plunger seals if there is water leakage from the weephole

Use a 3/16" Allen wrench to remove the cylinder head bolts

Remove the head from the crankcase assembly

Rotate the shaft and remove the cup retainers from the plungers

Remove the cup retainer and the cup from the cylinder head

IMPORTANT: Hypro PowerLine Plus pumps are filled with Hypro Oil.

Change oil after 40 hours of break-in operation.

Change oil every three months or 500 hours, whichever comes first.

Check the oil level using the dipstick.
