Inspect desiccant for physical condition

If desiccant condition is in question, send a sample to AIRTEK for analysis

Mufflers can be cleaned by blowing backwards through them with clean, dry air

Replace pre-filter and afterfilter elements

Replace Control Air Filter Element

Check and Slowdown Safety Valves

CAUTION: Activated Alumina Desiccant dust is considered a nuisance dust. Proper precautions should be taken.

Pressure and power removed from dryer?

Drain ports on bottom of tanks opened?

Desiccant caught in suitable container?

Drain ports closed and top fill ports opened?

Type, size and quantity of desiccant used for refill

Sides of the chambers rapped while filling?

Settling done to fit specified amount in tank?

NOTE: Use only AIRTEK Desiccant which is a high capacity, high quality desiccant designed and sized for AIRTEK dryers.

Warning: Shutdown the dryer and remove pressure before starting the procedure.

Dryer shutdown and pressure removed?

Upload a photo of the control air filter bowl with the bleed valve open

Compression fitting loosened and control tubing moved aside?

Upload a photo of the valve body with the control tubing moved aside

Bonnet hex head cap screws and nuts removed?

Upload a photo of the valve with the bonnet removed

Locknut and washer removed from the shaft?

Upload a photo of the shaft with the locknut and washer removed

Check dew point or humidity level

Correct purge setting and air flow from purge exhaust?

Gauge readings and sequence of operation through complete cycle correct?

Auto drain operation on pre-filter, separator and receiver working correctly?

Is there a manual drain valve installed at these points?

No back pressure in the regenerating tower?

Sign off on the daily dryer maintenance

Inspect and rebuild Inlet and Exhaust Valves

Return Powerloc Probe and chip for recalibration, if applicable
