Maintenance
Do not touch the spark is gap in normal case. (The distance between spark gap is adjusted for 1.2mm)
When the electrode is significantly no-uniform and contaminated on the surface, clean the surface, and then adjust the spark gap for 1.2mm. (To do this, use a thickness gauge. )
When removing a top panel, side panel and rear panel for maintenance and inspection, do not fail to re-install them just as they were.
Maintenance for flow rate switch:
If the flow rate switch is used over long periods of time, fur and rust stick to the flow rate switch shaft and float, whereby may cease to operate; therefore, periodically clean the flow rate switch. To do this, follow the steps below.; 1. Remove the right-side plate (right, as viewed from the front power supply).
2. Remove the nut of water inlet hardware.; 3. Remove the flow rate switch.; 4. Detach the cap at the upper part of flow rate switch from main unit.; 5. Remove fur and rust from the shaft, float and interior flow rate switch.
6. Re-install the cap to main body. (Tighten in forcedly manually)
7. Re-install the flow rate switch.
The flow rate switch may break down due to freezing in winter; therefore, remove the water hose of torch from power supply. Otherwise, keep letting a small amount of water flow.;
Maintenance 1M
Maintenance for filter
When the water conduit comes to be used for a long time and dust or fur is accumulated in the filter, there might be the case the Warning Lamp turns on and the machine stops. Therefore, clean the filter once or twice a month.; The way of cleaning
1. Remove the adapter.; 2. Take out the filter.; 3. Remove dust or fur accumulated on the wire net of the filter by washing or brushing.
4. Set the filter.;
Check 1D
(1) Check for abnormal vibration, beat or smell.
(2) Check for abnormal heating at the cable connections.
(3) Ensure that the welding machine cooling fan rotates smoothly with power ON.
(4) Check the switch for abnormal operation.
(5) Check for poor cable connection and insulation.
(6) Check the cable for any possible disconnection.;
Inspection 3M
(1) Checking electrical connection sections
Ensure that tightening screws at the input and output side cable connections of welding machine are not loose, rust does not worsen the electric contact, and check for any problem in insulation.
(2) Grounding line
Ensure that the welding machine case is completely grounded.
(3) Removing dust inside the welding machine
If dust is accumulated between windings of the transformer, for example, insulation may deteriorate accordingly, therefore, remove the side top plates of the welding machine at least once per 6 months, and blow compressed air with less moisture against each section for cleaning.;
