Maintenance
Adjustment of high frequency
Do not touch the spark electrode at normal time.
(The electrode spacing of the spark electrode is adjusted to 1.2mm). Polish electrode if its surface shows extreme unevenness or dirt, and adjust electrode spacing to 1.2± 0.1 mm. The spark electrode is located on the PC board TSM9494.;
Check 1D
Take adequate countermeasures or contact dealer if any abnormality is found through the following checks:
1 Is there any unusual vibration, buzzing or smell?
2 Does any cable connection show signs of unusual heat?
3 Does the cooling fan rotate smoothly when the power switch is turned on?
4 Is any switch malfunctioning?
5 Is the method of cable connection or insulation correct?
6 Is any section of cable damaged?;
Maintenance
When the water conduct comes to be used for a long time and dust or fur is accumulated in the filter, there might be the case the ‘Warning Lamp’ turns on and the machine stops. Therefore, clean the filter once or twice per month
※ The way of cleaning
1 Remove the adapter
2 Take out the filter,
3 Remove dust or fur accumulated on the wire net of the filter by washing or brushing.
4 Set the filter.;
Check 3M
Electric connection
Check whether any fixing screw on the input and output side of cable connection is loose or providing insufficient contact, and for any insulation problems.
Grounding conductor
Confirm whether or not the case of the machine is fully grounded.
Inside of the machine
If the heat ink is covered with dust, its heat radiation becomes inefficient, resulting in undesirable effects on semi-conductors, transistors etc.; Also, if dust accumulates between the windings of the transformer, it may cause degradation of insulation. Clean every part of the machine by blowing compressed dry air removing the top and side panels or the welder at least once every six months. If the top or side panel is removed, replace it correctly before operating again.
Care should be taken because transformers and semi-conductors are likely to burn out due to inefficient cooling effect if the machine is operated without remounting these panels.
When checking the inside of the machine after use, wait approximately five minutes after turning off the switch of the switch box and the power switch until discharge of capacitors in power supply of the machine is completed.;
Testing
As numerous transistors and semi-conductor components are used in this machine, careless insulation pressure tests and measuring of the machine.
The following points should be strictly observed in the event any of these tests are carried out in accordance with your company regulation.
a. Disconnect cable from distribution box which is connected to three input terminals and short-circuit the three input terminals.; b. Disconnect the secondary side current cable connected to two output terminals and short-circuit the two output terminals.
c. Short-circuit the anode and cathode of the main circuit primary diode D1, the emitter and collector of the main transistor Q1-Q2, the anode and cathode of the secondary diode D2 — D3 and thyristor.
d. Remove case grounding. (The case is grounded by a fast on terminal totaling 6 locations.);
