There is a battery lid at the bottom of this instrument.

Push the two clicks in the battery lid in the direction of the arrows to open the lid. Place dry cell paying attention to their + and - direction. Close the lid.

(The life of dry cells is about 150 hours under continuous use.);

Power switch turned OFF after completion of measurement

AC adaptor disconnected from the wall outlet after completion of measurement

Vinyl dust cover put on when the instrument is not in use

Spring and retaining screw reset and cartridge inserted

Height of the three tips is normal (central tip is 1.5mm higher)

Three adjusting screws loosened or tightened with a standard screwdriver
