Warning: Insufficient or incorrect greasing affects the chuck gripping force and thus cause the workpiece to come out during machining. The power must be turned off before greasing.

Is the power turned off before greasing?

Are the chuck jaws greased with the specified grease?

Note: Greasing must be executed at least once each day using a grease gun. In cases where high-speed rotation and a large amount of water-soluble coolant oil are used, increase the frequency of greasing according to the particular operating conditions.

Was the chuck body and the sliding surfaces completely cleaned using an air gun after working?

Was corrosion-preventive coolant water used?

Sign off on the daily chuck jaws greasing

Arranging the machine periphery in order

Cleaning the machine and its periphery (especially, the floor)

Check the chuck unit and its periphery for chips

Check for secure mounting of the top jaws

Check for smooth chucking/unchucking

Check the tailstock spindle for chips

- Remove any chips from the coolant collector.

- Check the degree of dirtiness of the coolant and if necessary, replace.

- Check the electrical components for dirt and discoloration and check for loose terminal screws.

- Check for sounds of reaction during sensor contact.

1. Replacing the filter element.

Replace the filter element at least once a year.

B. Replace the hex socket head screw.

C. Pull out the baffle. The filter element can be removed.

D. Replacing the filter element.

F. Tighten the hex socket head screw.
