Coaxial Heat Exchanger Maintenance
Coaxial Heat Exchanger Flushing Procedure - Open Loop
Isolate the heat exchanger by closing the valves in the IN and OUT ports to the heat exchanger.
Blow out the heat exchanger into a clean 5 gallon bucket using compressed air.
Is a purge cart available?
Place 2 gallons of RYDLYME or similar in the purge cart (or bucket).
Circulate the fluid through the heat exchanger for at least 2 hours (3 hours recommended).
Disconnect the purge system and dispose of the solution.
Connect fresh water and a drain to the heat exchanger ports and flush the exchanger for several minutes.
Return the plumbing to its original configuration and open the IN and OUT valves.

Turn the power off to the unit
Turn the power on to the unit and verify the display works
Display Board Removal
Remove the display board cable connector from the control board
Slice each of the display board standoff heads off using a sharp utility knife
Pull the display board from the unit
Remove the display board cable connector from the back of the display board
New Display Board Installation

Preparation
Turn the power off to the unit
Take a picture of the control board and connectors for reference
Removal of Old Control Board
Remove all green terminal strips
Remove the red six pin display board connector from the left side of the control board (marked DISPLAY on the board)
Remove all connectors from the top of the control board
Remove the control board from its four corner standoffs
Remove any remaining standoffs if present
Compressor Replacement
Pump down the unit
Disconnect piping
Replace the compressor and liquid line filter-dryer
Vacuum the unit
Compressor burnout handling
Charge the unit with new refrigerant and operate for 2 hours
Charge the unit and operate for 2-3 days
Charge the unit and operate for 2 weeks
