Clean the condenser with a vacuum cleaner or stiff brush

Use a commercially available condenser cleaner if necessary

Check that all drain components are in place

Is there any water accumulation under the unit?

Are all drain lines free of obstructions?

Ensure all components are securely reattached

Clean the interior using soap and warm water

Was soap and warm water sufficient for cleaning?

Use ammonia and water or a nonabrasive liquid cleaner if necessary

Preventing Blower Coil Corrosion

Ensure all acidic items are stored in sealable containers

Gather cleaning materials: water and mild soap (not citrus based)

Ensure no sharp tools or knives are present

Clean the gaskets with water and mild soap

Avoid using full strength cleaning products on gaskets

Remove the gasket from the groove in the door

Place gasket in warm water to make it pliable
