Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth rinsed in water to remove dust and dirt

Is there any greasy residue remaining?

Use a damp cloth rinsed in a mild dish soap and water solution if greasy residue persists

Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth

Ensure no steel wool or abrasive pads are used

Ensure no chlorinated, citrus based or abrasive cleaners are used on exterior panels and plastic trim pieces

Wear rubber gloves and safety goggles (and/or face shield) when handling Ice Machine De-scaler or Sanitizer.

Read and understand all labels printed on bottles before use.

Remove front and top covers and set the toggle switch to the OFF position.

Turn off the ice making water supply and drain water from evaporator and reservoir.

Remove the top cover from water reservoir.

Disconnect electric power to the ice machine and the remote condenser at the electric service switch

Clean the outside of the condenser with a soft brush or a vacuum with a brush attachment

Shine a flashlight through the condenser to check for dirt between the fins

Is there dirt remaining between the fins?

Use a suitable method to remove remaining dirt between the fins if necessary

Clean the washable filter with a mild soap and water solution
