Ensure the actuator is not modified

Ensure the actuator is not opened

Be cautious of the tensioned spring

Use commercial cleaning agents to clean the pneumatic actuator

Refer to assembly instructions for assembly/disassembly

Ensure the butterfly valve is included in the potential equalisation

Is the butterfly valve disc in the correct position?

Is the actuator mounted in a way that it cannot be damaged?

Are the relevant national guidelines and regulations being observed?

Plug the butterfly valve cam switch onto the outer square of the BV disc and align the tip of the BV switch cam with the notch on the BV disc.

Attach compact bracket SV04 with hexagon socket head cap screws to the pneumatic actuator applying a torque of 3Nm.

Undo the screw connection consisting of hexagon screw and hexagon nut and pull it out of the butterfly valve.

Push the pneumatic actuator with the mounted compact bracket SV04 over the butterfly valve ensuring the outer square of the butterfly valve disc engages into the inner square of the drive shaft of the pneumatic actuator.

Ensure the butterfly valve disc is in the correct position

Mount the actuator to avoid damage from transport vehicles

Observe relevant national guidelines and regulations

Put butterfly valve switch cam (4.1) onto the drive shaft of the pneumatic actuator (1)

Attach bracket SVV04 (3.1) with hexagon socket head cap screws (5.1) to the pneumatic actuator (1) with a torque of 3Nm

Push the pneumatic actuator (1) with mounted bracket SV04 (3.1) and butterfly valve switch cam (4.1) over the butterfly valve (2.1) ensuring proper engagement

Put hexagon socket head cap screws (6.1) into the side holes of the bracket SV04 (3.1) and butterfly valve type SV04 (2.1)
