Fan / Motor Disassembly
Fan Removal
Turn the nut left and pull out the Fan by hands carefully.
Heat Exchange Removal
Remove 2 screws that fasten Heat Exchange.
Lift the Heat Exchange and open it around 45 degrees clockwise carefully.
Motor and Earth Wire Removal
Unfasten 3 screws that secure the Motor and earth wire.
Remove the Motor.
Bucket / Air Filter Disassembly
Turn the Humidity Control off or press the power button off
Disconnect the power supply
Remove the bucket
Pull out the air filter
Refrigeration System Replacement
Discharge Refrigerant System
Discharge the refrigerant system using a refrigerant recovery system
Component Removal and Preparation
Remove the desired component and unbraze the pinch-off tubes
Solder service valves into the pinch-off tube ports, leaving the valves open
Solder the pinch-off tubes with service valves
Close the valve and leave it in place for subsequent procedures
Evacuation Process
Connect the vacuum pump as illustrated in Figure 31A
Shroud / Drain Pan Disassembly
Discharge the refrigerant using a refrigerant Recovery System
Unbrace the Discharge and the Suction tube connected to the compressor carefully after purging the unit completely
Remove screws that fasten the H/E
Unfasten screws that secure the shroud on the sides and lift shroud from the drain pan
Unfasten 2 screws that secure the shroud on the sides
Lift shroud from the drain pan
Unfasten screws that secure the drain pan to base pan
Remove the drain pan
Pull the drain pan backward
Sensor Assembly Disassembly
Disconnect the sensor assembly from the PWB(PCB) ASSEMBLY, MAIN
Remove the screw which fastens the humidity sensor
Remove the thermistor from the holder
Disconnect the switch wires from the micro switch assembly
Verify all components are removed
Post disassembly cleanup
Clean the work area
Dispose of any waste materials
