Precondition: The machine is switched off.

Filter mat removed from the retaining frame

Loose dirt removed from the filter mat

Was the filter mat washed with lukewarm water and household detergent?

Filter mat changed if cleaning was not possible or if the change interval had expired

Filter mat carefully inserted in the retaining frame

Sign off on the filter mat change

Warning: This check requires trained personnel with PPE!

Enter the airend discharge temperature

Did the machine shut down at 230 °F?

If the machine did not shut down, report the issue to an authorized KAESER SERVICE representative

Sign off on the safety shutdown function check

Precondition: The compressor motor is running.

Press the EMERGENCY STOP push button. Did the compressor motor stop and the pressure system vented?

If the compressor motor does not stop, the safety function of the EMERGENCY STOP push button is no longer ensured. Shut down the machine immediately and call an authorized KAESER SERVICE representative.

Turn the EMERGENCY STOP push button in the direction of the arrow to unlatch it. Was it successful?

Acknowledge the alarm message. Was it successful?

Sign off on the emergency stop push button test

Deposits in the heat exchanger can significantly reduce its capacity to transfer heat. Check the heat exchanger regularly for leaks and contamination. Frequency of checking is dependant on the characteristics of the heat transfer medium. Pressure in the cooling oil circuit is generally higher than that in the heat recovery system. If a leak occurs, oil will run into the heat-receiving medium. Increased cooling oil loss can indicate a leaking heat exchanger.

Precondition: The power supply disconnecting device is switched off, the device is locked off, the absence of any voltage has been verified.

Check the heat exchanger visually for leaks.

Have an authorized KAESER service representative check the heat exchanger for internal leaks and clean if contaminated.

Sign off on the heat recovery system maintenance

Warning: Ensure the power supply isolating device is switched off, the device is locked off, and the absence of any voltage has been verified. The machine should be cooled down.

Ventilation grill carefully removed and filter mat taken out

Loose dirt removed from the mat by beating or using a vacuum cleaner

Was the mat washed with lukewarm water and household detergent?
