Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel!

Are the bearings in good condition?

Sign off on the generator bearings replacement

Remove and install new drive belt

Check battery electrolyte level and service cable connections

Check lines to and from DPF and exhaust gas recirculation system

Warning: Maintenance work may only be carried out by authorized personnel.

Check the fuel lines and clamps.

Is it necessary to tighten the hose clamps?

Sign off on the initial 10 hours inspection

Unscrew the plug 4 and remove the strainer

Loosen the union nut 7 and detach the condensate drain hose 3 from the dirt trap

Use the small screwdriver to unscrew the nozzle 8 from the dirt trap housing

Clean the nozzle, strainer, screw plug, O-ring 5 and dirt trap housing 9 with cleaning solvent or spirit

Check the nozzle, strainer and O-ring for wear

Place the strainer on the screw plug

Screw in the plug making sure the O-ring seats properly

Screw in the nozzle and re-attach the condensate drain hose

Check/adjust the drive belt tension

Service the exhaust gas after-treatment components

Check the intake air line between the air filter and engine
