Provide a clean work surface to protect sensitive internal moving parts from contamination.

Keep good records of service activity.

Include pump in preventive maintenance program.

Empty captured material in the outlet manifold by turning the pump upside down to drain material from the pump.

Remove the following components

Remove the diaphragm washer (6)

Select the type of diaphragm to remove

Note any scratches or marks on the diaphragm rod (1)

Tap on (118) to expose the opposite (121) sleeve, (167) pilot piston and other parts.

Disassembly of Valve Block and Adapter Plate

Removal of Adapter Plate and Associated Components

Insert a small flat blade screwdriver into the notch in the side of 135 valve block

Push in on tab to remove 233 adapter plate

Inspect all parts for wear or damage

Replace worn or damaged parts with new parts

Lubricate diaphragm rod with Lubriplate FML-2 grease

Lubricate 'U' cup with Lubriplate FML-2 grease

Select diaphragm type for installation
