1 Yearly Platform Inspection
Observe and Obey: Maintenance inspections shall be completed by a person trained and qualified on the maintenance of this machine.
Scheduled maintenance inspections shall be completed daily, quarterly and annually as specified on the Maintenance Inspection Report.
WARNING: Failure to properly complete each inspection when required may result in death, serious injury or substantial machine damage.
Immediately tag and remove from service a damaged or malfunctioning machine.
Repair any machine damage or malfunction before operating machine.
Keep records on all inspections for three years.
Complete all procedures for daily and quarterly inspections

3 Monthly Platform Maintenance Procedure
1. Inspect the Electrical Wiring Warning! Electrocution hazard. Contact with hot or live circuits may cause death or serious injury. Remove all rings, watches and other jewelry.
1 Inspect the following areas for burnt, chafed, corroded and loose wires:
• inside of the base junction box
• inside of the ground control box
• inside of the mast junction box
• hydraulic power unit
• all external machine cables
• inside of the platform control box
• battery pack - DC models

1. Inspect the Operator's and Responsibility Manuals
a. Check to make sure that the operator's and responsibility manuals are present and complete in the storage container at the platform.
b. Examine the pages of each manual to be sure that they are legible and in good condition.
c. Always return the manuals to the storage box alter use.
d. Be sure the storage container and lid are present and in good condition.
NOTICE! Contact your authorized Genie distributor or Genie Industries if replacement manuals are needed.
2. Inspect the Decals and Placards
a.Refer to the Decals section in the Genie IWP Operator's Manual or the Genie AWP Operator's Manual and use the decal list and illustrations to determine that all decals and placards are in place.
b Inspect all decals for legibility and damage. Replace any damaged or illegible decal immediately.
