Open the Intake Grille and remove the air filter

Lift up the air filter’s handle, disconnect the two lower tabs, and pull out

Choose a method to clean the air filter

Allow the air filter to dry thoroughly in a shaded place if washed

Align the sides of the air filter with the panel and push in fully

Ensure the two lower tabs are returned properly to their holes in the panel

Press the SET button (Vertical) (Fig. 6 R)

Select the air direction range based on the mode

Ensure the Remote Controller’s display does not change

Use the air direction adjustments within the specified ranges

Verify the vertical airflow direction is set automatically according to the operation mode

Ensure no fingers or foreign objects are inside the outlet ports

Use the Remote Controller’s SET button to adjust the vertical airflow louvers

Flush the filters with high-pressure hot water until the surface is covered with water

Use diluent neutral detergent for flushing

Ensure not to wash by reaming or rubbing to avoid damage

Rinse the filters with water flow

Disconnect the Power Supply Cord

Ensure the following before proceeding

Place fingers at both lower ends of the grille panel and lift forward

Continue lifting upward if the grille catches partway

Pull past the intermediate catch and open the Intake Grille wide until horizontal

Ensure you have the following components ready

Open the Intake Grille and remove the Air filters

Remove the old air cleaning filters in reverse order of their installation

Install the new POLYPHENOL CATECHIN AIR CLEANING FILTER

Install the new Negative air ions deodorizing filter

Install the two Air filters and close the Intake Grille
