Is the projector turned off and unplugged?

Was the dust gently removed using a small vacuum or a very soft brush?

Do not rinse the air filter in water, or use any detergent or solvent to clean it.

Do not use canned air. The gases may leave a flammable residue or push dust and debris into the projector's optics or other sensitive areas.

If dust is difficult to remove or the air filter is damaged, replace the air filter.

Is the air filter torn or damaged?

If the air filter is not damaged, stop the procedure.

Upload a photo of the damaged air filter.

Dispose of used air filters according to local regulations.

Is the new air filter placed correctly in the projector?

Upload a photo of the new air filter in place.

Sign off on the air filter replacement.

Warning: The lamp may explode if used beyond the replacement period. Replace the lamp as soon as possible when the projected image gets darker or a message is displayed to replace the lamp.

Warning: Do not repeatedly turn off the power and then immediately turn it back on. This may shorten the lamp's operating life.

Warning: Always have a spare lamp unit ready in case it is needed. Use genuine Epson replacement lamps to ensure projection quality and safety.

Warning: Let the lamp fully cool before replacing it to avoid injury. Never disassemble or modify the lamp.

Did you use the screwdriver included with the replacement lamp to loosen the screw securing the lamp cover?

Warning: When replacing the lamp, there is a possibility that the lamp may be broken. Stand to the side of the lamp cover, not underneath it.

Did you remove the lamp cover gently?

Clean the projector's lens periodically, or whenever you notice dust or smudges on the surface.

Warning: Do not use any flammable gas sprays such as air dusters to blow off dust. The high heat generated by the projector may cause a fire.

Attention: Do not wipe the lens right after you turn off the projector. Doing so could damage the lens. Do not use any harsh materials to clean the lens and do not subject the lens to any impacts; otherwise, it could be damaged.

To remove dust or dirt, use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.

To remove stubborn dirt, use a soft cloth moistened with water and mild soap. Do not spray liquid directly on the projector.

Attention! Do not use wax, alcohol, benzene, paint thinner, or other chemicals to clean the projector case. These can damage the case. Do not use canned air, or the gases may leave a flammable residue.
