Projector Lamp Maintenance
Warning: The lamp may explode if used past the replacement period. Always replace the lamp as soon as the replacement message appears.
Warning: Do not repeatedly turn off and on the projector. This may shorten the lamp's operating life.
Warning: Always have a spare lamp unit ready.
Warning: Use of non-genuine lamps may affect projection quality and safety. Damage or malfunction caused by non-genuine lamps may not be covered by warranty.
Warning: Let the lamp fully cool before replacing it to avoid injury. Never disassemble or modify the lamp.
Is the projector turned off and unplugged?
Has the projector lamp cooled down for at least one hour?
Did you use the screwdriver included with the replacement lamp to loosen the screw securing the lamp cover?
Warning: When replacing the lamp, there is a possibility that the lamp may be broken. Stand to the side of the lamp cover, not underneath it.

Warning: Ensure the projector is turned off and unplugged before starting the procedure.
Is the air filter torn or damaged?
If the air filter is not damaged, stop the procedure.

Warning: Before cleaning any part of the projector, turn it off and unplug the power cord. Never open any cover on the projector, except as specifically explained in this manual. Dangerous electrical voltages in the projector can injure you severely.
Clean the projector's lens periodically, or whenever you notice dust or smudges on the surface.

If the lens is dusty, blow off dust using a blower, and then wipe the lens.
Warning: Do not use any flammable gas sprays such as air dusters to blow off dust. The high heat generated by the projector may cause a fire.

Do not use any harsh materials to clean the lens and do not subject the lens to any impacts; otherwise, it could be damaged.
