Replacement of Electronic Sub-Assembly

Replace the electronic sub-assembly if necessary

Check that all parts are in place after replacement

Ensure installation has been completed and the device is fully sealed and secured

Measure the gap between the faces of the cover and enclosure

Is the cover seal correctly seated in its groove with a maximum gap of 0.0075" (0.2mm)?

Post-Installation Documentation

Ensure a copy of the manual is made available to all operating personnel

Ensure the cleaning cloth is damp, not dry

Clean the exterior of the beacon with the damp cloth

Was the cleaning performed with a damp cloth only?

Verify the beacon provides an intermittent or permanent spherical visual warning light upon demand

Confirm the application type of the beacon

Is the beacon tested at least once a week for Fire Alarm systems?
